Deadly Car & Semi-trailor Crash – Pueblo Car Accident Lawyer

One person was killed Saturday in a crash involving two cars and a semi-trailer on U.S. 287 south of Pueblo. The Pueblo Chieftain  is reporting that Hilton Sease of Aurora was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries he sustained in the crash. The accident happened shortly after midnight on U.S. 287 about 18 miles south of Pueblo. The Colorado State Patrol said the semi-trailer was traveling southbound when it attempted to pass a Toyota Camry in a no-passing zone. The semi then struck a Chrysler New Yorker, killing Sease, and sending it head-on into the Camry. The driver and another passenger in the New Yorker were seriously injured in the crash. The driver and two passengers in the Camry sustained minor or no injuries. The semi driver was also unhurt in the accident. The driver of the semi was arrested and charged with one count of careless driving resulting in death, three counts of careless driving causing injury and one count of passing on left where prohibited.
