A Fowler man has been arrested after leading State Troopers on a car chase. According to a report in The Pueblo Chieftain, the man was suspected of driving under the influence and faces charges including fleeing the scene of an accident, DUI, alluding police, and “disregarding traffic control devices.” After Troopers called off the chase for fear of risking other motorists, the man parked his beat-up truck in the parking lot of the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo, walked into the lobby, and asked for help. The man was taken by ambulance to the Parkview Medical Center for evaluations and then to the Pueblo County Jail.
