3 Killed and 2 Seriously Injured in Rollover Accident – Pueblo Personal Injury Attorney

3 people were killed and 2 others seriously injured in a rollover accident in Capulin early this morning. The Colorado State Patrol believe drugs and alcohol played a role in the accident and are still trying to sort out the details. According to The Pueblo Chieftain, no one in the truck was wearing a seat belt when it “swerved to avoid an unidentified pedestrian in the road, hit a stone fence, rolled and struck a utility pole and two parked cars before stopping on the porch of a house.” The State Patrol are not sure who was driving at the time and do not know the present conditions of the two female teens who were hospitalized.

According to a statistical report by Alcohol Alert, 202 people were killed in alcohol related crashes in the state of Colorado in 2008. These fatalities accounted for 37% of all car crash deaths in the state that year.
