Scooter Accident Kills One – Pueblo Personal Injury Attorney

A 52-year-old man died Tuesday when the scooter he was riding rear-ended an SUV. The Denver Post is reporting that the fatal accident happened around 4:20 p.m. in the 900 block of East 4th Street in Pueblo. The victim was driving his scooter when he was unable to slow down and lost control of the scooter. The scoter went down and slid about 30 feet into the back of an SUV. The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, in 2008, 548 people in Colorado were killed in motor vehicle involved crashes. Of the 548 fatalities, 42 were pedestrians, 83 were motorcyclists and 56 were semi-truck involved.
