According to the Pueblo Chieftain, a 12-year-old Pueblo boy was killed in a drunk driving accident that also resulted in other passenger injuries. The 39-year-old Pueblo driver was under the influence of alcohol when she drove off of the road on Interstate 25, about three miles north of Pueblo, Colorado. The truck flipped over about two times before coming to a complete stop in the middle of the highway. Sadly, the young boy was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and was projected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. The Pueblo drunk driver was also ejected from the car and suffered major injuries, while the other front seat passenger, who was wearing his seatbelt, was released from the hospital with minor injuries.
