Impaired driving is a very serious problem in this country. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 30 individuals are killed by impaired drivers every day. That is about one third of the total number of traffic fatalities, and the real horror lies in the fact that they are so easily preventable. Many government agencies and private organizations are devoted to stopping the problem of impaired driving, but what is really needed is for every driver to truly comprehend the danger involved every single time they get behind the wheel after drinking or using recreational drugs.
